Bicol University ROTC
This is the unofficial webpage of Bicol University Reserve Officers Training Corps (BUROTC) of the 504th Community Defense Center, 5th Regional Community Defense Group. This was made through the efforts of the 4th Class Officers, batch MALIYAB (2000-2001). We hope that through this, you will have the most possitive impressions towards the BUROTC Corps of Officers. Do you need a resume filled with accomplishments after you graduate from college? Do you want more discipline, confidence and practical skills? Do you want to stand out above your peers? If your answer to any of these questions is “YES,” Army ROTC is for you. Learn leadership from real-life experience instead of a college textbook?
I am an Army Cadet. Soon I will take an oath and become an Army officer, committed to defending the values that make this Nation great. Honor is my touchstone. I understand mission first and people always.
I am the Past, the spirit of those warriors who have made the final sacrifice.
I am the Present, the scholar and apprentice solder enhancing my skills in the science of warfare and the art of leadership.
But above all, I am the future. The future warrior leader of the United States Army. May God give me the compassion and judgment to lead and the gallantry in battle to win.

Out of the night that covers me
